What is the difference between white glove, threshold, and doorstep delivery?

Types of Delivery

White Glove Delivery

  • By appointment only – an adult must be present to sign.

  • Delivered to a room of your choice (up to two flights of stairs).

  • Includes 30 minutes of light assembly and removal of all packaging.

  • Ideal for large furniture like sofas, beds, dressers, dining tables, and some made-to-order items.


Threshold Delivery

  • By appointment only – an adult must be present to sign.

  • Delivered (in packaging) to the first dry area inside your home, like a garage or entryway (up to two flights of stairs).

  • No assembly or unpacking included.

  • Used for large furniture and some made-to-order items.


Doorstep Delivery

  • No appointment or signature required.

  • Delivered (in packaging) outside your door, with a photo sent as proof.

  • Used for smaller items like nightstands, lamps, poufs, coffee tables, and décor that doesn’t require assembly.


Important Reminders:

  • Signature is required for White Glove and Threshold deliveries.

  • Make sure there’s a clear path and enough space for delivery inside your home.

  • Not all items include assembly or trash removal—check your product details.

  • Deliveries can only be made to the original shipping address entered at checkout.
