How do I retain or advance my Designer Trade tier status?

Understand how your annual spending affects your Designer Trade tier and benefits.

Your Designer Trade tier is based on your total spend during the previous calendar year (January 1–December 31), and it's set once a year.

How your tier is determined

Each January, we look at your total spend from the year that just ended and set your tier for the year ahead:

  • Brass — under $10,000

  • Silver — $10,000–$30,000

  • Gold — over $30,000

Your tier is locked for the full year — it won't change mid-year as you spend. This year's spending determines next year's tier.

Retaining or advancing

  • Retain: keep your annual spend within your current bracket.

  • Advance: reach the next bracket by December 31 — you'll move up when tiers are set the following January.

  • Move down: if your spend falls below your current bracket, your tier will step down at the next January evaluation.

Example: If you spend $12,000 this year, you'll be Silver next year. If the following year you spend $8,000, you'll move to Brass the year after.
